A nostalgic Toyota Bonnet Bus greets everybody as they arrive, next to the entrance of the Automobile Gallery. It is an exhibition vehicle and you are free to get on. Let's enjoy taking photos as a memory.

Joining a guided tour of the Automobile Gallery

Take a tour of the history of the automobile, from the world’s first gasoline-powered car to modern electric vehicles.
Our staff will guide you through the gallery highlighting specific vehicles and offering insights into the history of the automobile. It's a cinch that your love for automobiles will be strengthened by this tour.

Our museum's book cafe is a perfect place to make yourself at home after fully enjoying the guided tour and to have casual conversations about cars with your friends. Fine drinks and sweets are waiting for you in a relaxed atmosphere, where you can freely browse books catching your eyes.

Based on the theme "Fun to Drive", dozens of publications, including photo books, art books, novels, and comics are selected for the cafe CARS & BOOKS by a renowned book curation company BACH, which is spearheaded by a Book Director Yoshitaka HABA.

Touring the Automobile Culture Showroom
Get back to the nostalgic world, where you once belonged.
In the Automobile Culture Showroom, more than 4,000 cultural items are displayed to depict the theme of "Mobility and Culture". Through the guided tour, you may realize that the automobile and culture have prospered together throughout history.
