Priority Parking
The eight parking spaces marked with the caring icons are reserved for visitors who need care. We recommend that wheelchair users leave their cars at the museum's entrance and wait inside for their companions to park.
Assistance dogs
Visitors may be accompanied by assistance dogs, such as guide dogs and hearing dogs.
Vertical and horizontal accessibility
Ramps (both inside and outside of the buildings), elevators, and stairs with handrails are provided to facilitate access.

* Wheelchairs and strollers/prams are not permitted to get on escalators.
* Electric wheelchairs with handles (senior cars) are not allowed to enter the museum. Please park in the bicycle parking lot.

Touch tour
Visitors who are visually impaired may be allowed to touch some of the vehicles on display while wearing gloves under the supervision of our staff.
Please contact us in advance to make a reservation.
Restrooms
There are three wheelchair-accessible restrooms on the premises.
(Automobile Gallery 1st and 2nd floors; and Cultural Gallery 1st floor)
* If you wish to bring a mat or cot into these restrooms, please notify our staff.
Nap room
If you are feeling unwell, tell our staff so you can rest in the nap room.
AED
An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a medical device that generates electrical shocks for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
The museum has two AEDs; one each on the first floor of the Automobile Gallery and the first floor of the Cultural Gallery.
Tips for Visitors with Children
Restrooms
- ・Some of men's and women's restrooms are equipped with cribs/cots.
- ・Some of men's and women's restrooms are equipped with fitting boards.
- ・Youth restroom facilities are primarily located within the 3rd floor restrooms of the Cultural Gallery.
Additional facilities, including for youth boys (5 years old and below) are located within the women's restroom on the 1st and 3rd floors of the Cultural Gallery and the 1st floor of the Automobile Gallery.
Nursing room
There are two nursing rooms equipped with hot-water suppliers and cribs/cots. (Automobile Gallery 1st fl., Cultural Gallery 1st fl.)

Please complete an application form to borrow a stroller/pram.

Restaurant
The restaurant on the 1st floor of the Automobile Gallery offers a children's menu and high chairs for infants.
