From more than 200,000 automobile-related cultural items the museum has collected in Japan and abroad, some 4,000 items have been selected for display to depict the theme of mobility and culture.

Symbol Zone
The Symbol Zone features the first passenger car commercially produced by Toyota, the 1936 Toyoda Model AA (replica). On the wall are some relief sculptures, including one that depicts Toyota’s Koromo plant as it was first erected.

The Museum Lounge is a free lounge designed in the image of a hobby room or garage, where you can view and touch our collection. Please relax in this cozy place before going to the Cultural Gallery from the Automobile Gallery. Children can also enjoy the miniature car gallery and tactile exhibits.
