【October 22】Information About “the 34th Toyota Automobile Museum Classic Car Festival”

The Toyota Automobile Museum will host its 34th Classic Car Festival on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

The parade route will run through downtown Nagakute so that many onlookers can stop and cheer. About 120 classic cars will depart from the museum and proceed through the city before reaching Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park. The spectacular motorcade will include vehicles spanning the 100-year history of automobiles in Japan, the U.S., and Europe. The parade will be led by a first-generation Crown made in 1960, and the rear will be brought up by a Crown Crossover released in 2022.

The festival’s logo has been redesigned this year, and the number of privately owned cars joining the parade will be around 120. In addition, demo runs of some of the classic cars in the museum’s collection will resume this year after a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Visitors will be greeted by staff members in diverse costumes, reflecting the vibes of cars from different periods. Returning to the original form of the event, we at the museum will present automobile culture in a tangible way that can be enjoyed by visitors and participants alike.
