This section is where you can enjoy the many facets of automobile culture’s vast expanse from a variety of perspectives, including working cars, vintage and compact cars, popular automobiles from TV series, and toys such as miniature cars and plastic models.

Driving, turning, stopping. If you want to learn how automobiles work, this is the section for you. The selection includes everything from back issues of technical magazines to books for children and specialist books.
Maintenance and repair books are kept in the closed stacks, so if you are interested in a particular car model, feel free to ask at the reception desk. (Books not available for some models)

This section is where you can learn about vehicular history, design history, industrial history, corporate history, and all other aspects of automotive history. We have a large selection of corporate histories of Toyota Group as well as other automotive manufacturers.
Automobile Catalog Section
About 3,500 catalogs with a variety of models from domestic and foreign car manufacturers are available for browsing.
You can just open up your favorite catalog at the stand-up reading table, or you can enjoy a conversation while checking out various catalogs.
Vehicle Picture Book Room
We have collected a variety of picture books about vehicles from nostalgic classics to popular new titles. We hope you’ll enjoy them with your children.
Automobile magazines
You can read the latest issues of Japanese automobile magazines as well as major magazines from the US, UK, France, Italy, and Germany.
Automobile Comics
Comics are a form of media that does a lot to convey the appeal of automobiles. We have a wide-ranging selection of comics that will teach you about automobiles.

Surrounded by bookshelves, lose yourself in concentration and forget about time. Spend some moments in comfort with a book you found in the Automobile Discovery Library.
Book Search Area
The Automobile Discovery Library has about 13,000 books and catalogs available for browsing. In addition to these, you can search among approximately 250,000 books that are kept in our closed stacks.

| Library rules | Please refrain from eating, drinking, or using your mobile phone in the library. You may only bring pencils into the library. Please use lockers in the library to store your bag and all other personal belongings. |
